Do you have scraps of card stock laying around and you just don’t know what to do with them? Well, I hope today’s card will help you out! I just love being able to put my paper scraps to good use!
I made this card as part of a Color Challenge by my Team Leader. I love to participate in these challenges as much as I can. A lot of times they really push me out of my comfort zone and this one did just that! The colors for this challenge were: Shaded Spruce, Granny Apple Green, and Soft Sea Foam. To be honest, I had no idea what to do with these colors! Haha! I decided to look through the Stampin’ Up! annual catalog for inspiration and I came across page 125 and the idea to put my scraps to good use! Check out my TUTORIAL and use the colored scraps you having laying around to create a card too. Be sure to share them with us in the comments. I would love to see what you design!
I got on a roll as I was creating with these green colors from the challenge and ended up making 2 more cards! Let me know what you think. Which one is your favorite?
Great way to use these scraps – very appealing colour combo.
Thank you so much Carolyn! I do love being able to use up those scraps.
Love this Tonya! So much that I’ve CASED it in shades of pink and coral, will name you as the originator when I share my version. Just love those green strips.
Thank you Lesley! That’s so awesome!! I’m so glad that it inspired you to CASE! I bet it is beautiful in shades of pink and coral! Would love to see yours!
