I made this card for the NC Demos Blog Hop but then I forgot to submit it! 🤪 I decided to go ahead and share it with you. I hope you like it. I plan to get back to hopping next month! The theme for the hop was “Time to Leaf to Summer Behind” so I thought the Fond of Autumn stamp set would be a great one to use!
The focus of this card is the large image from the stamp set. I started by heat embossing the image using gold embossing powder. Then I used various ink refills and water painters to color the image. The colors I used were Early Espresso, Soft Suede, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Petal Pink, Daffodil Delight, and Calypso Coral but there are so many colors that would look great!
I stamped the sentiment, Autumn Wishes, in Evening Evergreen and attached it to the front of the card using dimensionals. The following are the cutting dimensions for the different layers of my card incase you would like to make this card or one similar:
- Evening Evergreen (card base): 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″Â
- Shara Sand layer: 3 7/8″ x 4 7/8″
- Calypso Coral layer: 3 5/8 x 4 5/8″
- Shimmery White (image): 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″
- Sentiment: 5/8″ x 2 1/2″
