I’m so excited to share my card with you today! I have been featuring cards from the Nature’s Prints bundle over on my Facebook and Instagram pages this week. I made this card especially for sharing on my blog and I hope you enjoy it. Heat embossing and watercolor wash techniques are used to make this card but it’s still a simple card to make! I “CASED” this card idea straight from our Annual catalog. You can check it out on page 90.

This card doesn’t really take a lot of products either. You can find the list of products I used below but you can always use whatever you have to make a similar card using the same techniques.

Cutting Directions:

• Thick Very Vanilla:  4 1/4″ x 11″ 
• Watercolor paper:  4″ x 5 1/4″
• Scrap of Vellum for punch
• Scrap of watercolor paper for sentiment

Fold vanilla card base in half.

Stamp images onto watercolor paper using Versamark ink

Sprinkle with white embossing powder

Heat with heat tool

Squeeze drops of ink onto clear block and add drop of water

Mix water and ink and paint over embossed images

Gently wipe/pat images to remove any excess ink

Flick water painter to add drops of water to inked paper

Stamp sentiment onto watercolor paper scrap

Die cut sentiment using label die

Punch vellum with Decorative Circle punch

“Rough” the edges using blade of scissors

Glue to front of card base

Glue vellum to front using a strip of glue that will be hidden by label

Attach label using dimensionals

Add iridescent pearls
