Hello and welcome to another NC Demos Blog Hop! I’m so excited that you are here and hope that you will enjoy all the awesome projects on this hop. The theme for our March hop is “Accessories make every project better”! I don’t always use a lot of accessories especially all on the same card! But I did enjoy designing and adding many accessories to this one card…DSP, die cuts, ribbon, gems, and an embossed layer! Oh my!

I started this card with a Shaded Spruce base and added a layer of DSP from the Regency Park paper pack. Next I took a Basic White Layer embossed it using one of the Basics 3D folders. Using the Sentimental Park dies, I cut the stem & leaves from Shaded Spruce and the flower pieces from Petal Pink & Sweet Sorbet. I colored a piece of white crinkled ribbon using the Light Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blend. I love being able to color ribbon whatever color I need it to be! That’s why I love white ribbon so much! The stem and flowers were glued onto the embossed white layer and the ribbon was wrapped around and tied in a bow. I added dimensionals to this layer and attached it to the card front. The “Best Wishes” saying was stamped on white using Sweet Sorbet ink. I used a dimensional on the left side and glue on right to attach it to the card. Last but not least, I added 3 iridescent rhinestones… one to the middle of the flower and the other 2 in the bottom left of the card.

Cutting Instructions:

  • Shaded Spruce: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
  • DSP: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Basic White: 2″ x 4 1/4″; 3/8″ x 1 1/2″
